About Me

Hi! I am originally from Connecticut.

Now, I am a journalist outside the Washington, D.C., area, currently going to school in College Park, Maryland. 

I am a passionate junior journalism major at the University of Maryland (UMD) Philip Merrill College of Journalism, and my goal is to do broadcast reporting/anchoring!

This semester, I am going to be a news media intern at FOX, working for FOX News Live and The Sunday Briefing. I will also continue my position as a copy editor for The Diamondback and a video reporter for Terrapin Sports Central. I am also starting at Stories Beneath the Shell as a photographer and social media content creator. On top of that, I am the social media and communications chair on the executive board of UMD's Society of Professional Journalists chapter for the 2026-27 academic year. I also occasionally freelance for Streetcar Suburbs Publishing.

August 24-28, 2026, I spent one week at the PolicyLink Summit creating a daily print paper about the summit with 12 other students from across the country. Our paper was distributed to more than 2,500 attendees overnight. Out of 4 papers we created, I wrote one op-ed piece, a brief, I co-wrote a standard news article and I wrote one lead story that was on the cover. 

Earlier in the 2026 summer, I spent two weeks reporting in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with students from the University of Dar es Salaam and students from UMD. Together, we created a short documentary about traditional medicine and its place in the 21st century. We are still finalizing edits on it. 

For the past two years of college, I was an editorial intern for PressBox, a copy editor for The Diamondback and I freelanced for Her Campus and Streetcar Suburbs Publishing. I also did sports photography and video reporting for Terrapin Sports Central.
